a humble servant of the Lord
I just wanted a simple way of keeping track of Bible reading progress. I found something that let me mark chapters done, but it considered all chapters equal. Psalm 117 is not equal to Psalm 119 in word count! It seems fair to "give credit" for progress according to word count. Thus, this tool tracks Bible reading progress by chapter, weighted according to word count.

The default method. This tracker simply looks for the first unread chapter starting from Genesis 1 and moving forward to Revelation.
A widely used system that takes you through the New Testament and Psalms twice a year, and the rest of the Bible once. It consists of 4 daily readings:
- Family: 2 chapters (Usually 1 OT, 1 NT)
- Secret: 2 chapters (Usually 1 OT, 1 NT/Psalms)
An intensive reading system designed for immersion. You read 10 chapters per day, one from each of 10 distinct lists (e.g., Gospels, Pentateuch, Epistles, Wisdom, etc.).
The goal is not to "finish" but to cycle through the lists constantly. Because the lists vary in length, you will never read the same set of 10 chapters twice.
